They work well for asphalt. I usually end up cutting them in half so I don't need such a deep hole. They hold well once the epoxy sets up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Low impact solution *by V***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2022* These worked as advertised. I don't know about pull strength but I assume it will be adequate to hold down my fabric car shelter. I will say all 8 I put in didn't seem to have the same strength potential based on how the asphalt and substrate was at that spot. For example, the grout seemed to run away down the hole in some cases, and not accept too much in others. As a rule I'd say use as many anchors as you can to spread the load and don't assume 1500 lbs each. That's probably an ideal case number. Also don't put them closer to each other or to the edge of a pad because asphalt is weak. Guessing, I'd say no closer than 3" hole edge to edge, and more than that is safer.The great thing about this system is it's pretty easy to install, and when done it just adds a flush flange to your blacktop.
