Review: A VERY Poignant figure & the only one of it type I found. - I love this figure.................I suppose you will either love it or hate it?From a distance it looks great but up close has paint runs & casting imperfections(nothing serious).I think I may cut open the bottom(it sounds hollow) to insert some sort of weight to stabilise it more as the way it is now it 'could' blow over outside in a strong wind especially if high up & not glued down??I will let mine weather a bit then bring it inside to sand,fill & paint myself to a better finish.I have resin 75mm model figures that cost me £20ish....so this is great value. If you have never experienced the pain of the death of a 'living' person or pet.......I wont waste time explaining the appeal of "The Weeper". I would not leave it at a public grave site as someone will steal it.Perfect for Pet burial's in your garden.My wife hates it!I had seen this a few years before & she talked me out of it then & then I saw it again after more bad news & thought "yes,that is just how I feel".....that feeling has passed now but the statue reminds me to enjoy every day as a Blessing,now.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Haunting beauty

Before buying this I did research to find out what it was a statue of. The site I found said you will find these statues in French cemeteries and they are called "weepers". It was very poignant to me that the cemeteries would have statues of mourners. I bought this to put in my garden as I thought it was intriguing. It is exactly as describes and has a haunting beauty. I am not normally drawn to statues like this, but there is something very mysterious about it. I am glad I purchased it as it has become a conversational piece in my garden.
