My daughter usually takes 4 to a 3 day meet, because 2 will end up soaking wet, and 2 pretty damp - so that by the 3rd day she really doesn't have anything nice and dry. These towels are huge, she's tall - nearly 6', and she can wrap this towel all the way around her, and it still hangs down to nearly her ankles. It is a bit thinner than the "premium" towels that I buy, but in our case, that's a win/win - because it will quickly dry overnight hanging up in a hotel rooms.
