The Entrek USA Close Combat MKII is the tactical black version, a pure combat knife that is more difficult to see in low light conditions. It has a 7" long 1/4" thick double edged blade that is 1 1/4" at the widest point. It's 12" overall length with full tang construction bring this in at 13.1oz. Full tang. Black canvas micarta handles with lanyard hole. Black molded Kydex belt sheath with lashing holes.At Entrek USA we realize and believe that almost any steel with enough carbon in it to harden properly will make a good useable knife. We also realize one steel cannot be all things to all people. With 36 years experience we just aren't that impressed with the glamour steels. Therefore we chose to use an old standby that has proven itself for many years, 440C Stainless Steel. When heat treated, subzero stabilized and double drawn to 57-58 RC it will hold an edge as well as almost any other steel and with 17% chromium it is one of the most corrosion resistant steels available.
