Both are nice stones of a large size, but not too large to handle. They fit well in the hand and are easy to grasp and maneuver across skin. I use the natural pumice with a hanging string attached in the shower for my feet. The lighter side of the purple one is perfect for my elbows. It is so effective that the other night, when I was using it before moisturizing at bedtime, I was so anxious to remove the callus that I overdid it, scraped the surrounding skin and it bled a little. Just a note: Go easy, and over time the calluses will disappear with continued use. (I learned the hard way.) It's been nice having it handy for use in the shower. I haven't used the purple callous remover much, but did try it. It seems to work well, but beware that little purple bits will be everywhere! Thankfully I anticipated as such and, while I did not use the bar while bathing, I did sit on the bathtub edge while using so I was able to wash away all the small pieces easily.
