The fear is gone, you just gotta dig in and do it yourself! **Q: Are these swabs pre-moistened or are they dry??** A: Totally dry. You need to buy the Eclipse Optic Cleaning Fluid to go with it. In general, the swab and the fluid seem to remove dust ok, but if you have oil spots, it won't really work. I tried the swab seven or eight times on my new Nikon D800 trying to remove some oil spots, it did not work. I ended up taking it in to have it professionally cleaned.
