It has a soft, earthly and herbaceous scent with a subtle, sweet floral note to it. It is wonderful for clarity and relaxation. It works well in my ultrasonic diffuser and creates a wonderful, calming environment in the room. This comes in an amber glass bottle with a cellophane-wrapped cap, and bundled together with a glass dropper cap (bubble-wrapped) in an eco-friendly box. The oil is sourced from Ukraine and bottled in the USA. The botanical name is Salvia sclarea. The method of extraction isn't specified though. Overall, I'm pleased with this essential oil. It seems pure and smells wonderful. I'm using it for aromatherapy and it works great for that. The price is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity. Good shelf life too as mine expires on 4/15/2025.
