I did not experience any “roll down” from top—but had the top band placed under my bra band. Not something I’d wear daily, but excellent for special events & dresses. When I finally put them on, I was deeply disappointed. First, they are high waisted but they seem to come up higher than other high waisted Spanx I own. The proportions just didn’t work for my body. But that’s fine because they actually have a bigger problem... They roll. I really like the material that they used for the front panel, but there is a waistband above that panel made of just a standard polyester and it rolls. I couldn’t get them to lay flat for the life of me. So they removed the bumps on my tummy but created bumps on my back and upper waist- which looked extremely odd. I wish I had done more homework before buying because I found so many similar reviews! I’m also disappointed because I didn’t put them on until after the return window closed.
