There are two problems. First, the sliding clamp that holds the phone in place presses on the phone's volume buttons. And while the product comes with foam pads that are supposed to prevent button pushes on the phone, the clamp applies so much pressure that the pads don't really help much. I had place the phone very carefully so that the clamp lands in the exact center of the volume buttons to prevent one of them from being pressed. The other tricky part is that the holder is shallow. The MotoG has a curved back making it difficult to get a good fit. I feel like I'm trying to diffuse a bomb -- carefully inserting the phone in the holder and then slowly sliding it into the headset. One wrong move and POP! goes the phone out of the holder.I might have been better off with a headset that doesn't use a slide in holder. They make plenty where you just drop the phone in and close it. But I really wanted one that didn't block the phone's camera in the event I came across a really cool augmented reality app.When I do get the phone installed into the headset, it works just fine. The headset is a bit heavy with the phone in, but that's expected. I haven't tried using it for long periods of time like watching a movie so I can't comment about the long term comfort.The printed instructions and website are useless. They make vague references to QR codes, download sites, etc. but don't provide any actual URLs or QR images to follow. Furthermore, there are actual formatting codes like newline characters ("\r\n") printed in the documents! The documentation was either thrown together or just copied from some other source. The website just directs back to the Amazon listing for the product. So you're on your own when it comes to figuring out how to make it work best and finding content. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent Price - Remote Won't Control on iPhone *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2016* I ordered two of these for Christmas (one for myself and other for my brother). The headset looks clean and fairly comfy, my nose is quite small and it presses up against the plastic slot when I wear it. Video works fine with iPhone 7+ and an iPhone 7.However...This version came with a universal bluetooth remote. It had no charge and didn't come with any cables to charge it.. Luckily I found one that fit the port. Upon plugging in I saw no result or flashing LED lights. I left one plugged in for about 2 hours (no LED lights on at the moment) and used a pin to click in the reset button on the back for about 5 seconds while it was still plugged in. After letting go of the reset button, the blue light came on steady, the started to flash and then changed to a pink and red flashing light. I left it plugged in and eventually turned to a solid red LED. Once it turned off I figured it was charged. I unplugged and followed the instructions to connect through bluetooth and the remote seems responsive to the buttons (blue LED flashes each time I click a button)I wanted to use this headset with apps such as "Google Cardboard Demos" or "Within" the VR app. I was looking for a hands free alternative to the Google Daydream, a hands free headset that I could use a remote to tap instead of the Cardboard magnets or capacitative button but I was quickly let down. The instruction manual claims that the remote can control your music app but I cant seem to get that to work. I am left with a mini bluetooth remote that seems to work fine but cannot be used to control functions in VR apps. The apps that the manual suggests are in another language or not in the app store.If anyone knows how to fix this issue please advise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value, great customer service *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2016* What a great company and quality product. Headset arrived swiftly, worked, and provided a solid VR experience, the ability to adjust the lens was invaluable and fit was comfortable and was structurally well made. Me and my wife tried one of the cardboard ones and this one is so much better for only a fraction more. Quality and value at a great price.
