The difference is just capacity in this case. Older versions of the Coffee Flask featured a lid with a lid that could be snapped shut as opposed to this one that twists. I hope you find this helpful. **Q: Could you eat soup out of this with a spoon ?** A: Yes, you could, but it's not ideal for soup unless you drank it from the bottle without a spoon. The mouth is about 3"wide and body is 6.5"deep. But you definitely could use it for soup. Just not sure how a spoon would work out. **Q: How tall is each size?
