Review: Very easy to work with, much nicer than trying to use household weatherstripping. These stick awesome. Was worried that it would get dislodged as my door panels slide down on hooks to attach. No such problems. Can't say for sure if they helped the sound as I installed them along with a whole bunch of other upgrades. But, the theory is solid and they do what they are supposed to do.

**Q: Would it fit a 8" speacker?**
A: Yes, the beauty of this dampening product is the way they are designed. The individual strips are constructed so that you can both stick them all around the speaker and cut them to the desired length. They give you 6 so I actually stacked two on each of my 6x9 speakers. So they would definitely fit an 8" speaker with ease.
