Sometimes the sections become a little loose but I find it easy to twist-tighten the screw attachments and it stays that way for awhile. Reasonably sturdy plastic, although I didn’t try to break it; I actually used it in place of a plastic grabber stick that had broken. Excellent value for the use I’ve gotten from it.
