These files are great, precision machined, gauged for bass.  If you want good results, use good tools.  The only things I could recommend are to have the handle ends dipped in grippy rubber or something, and have a single tool roll for storage instead of the individual holders.  These are also great for final fret end dressing.

Don't waste your money on the other, less expensive ones. A more experienced luthier actually made fun of the very best work I was able to do with the cheap ones. These are the real deal.

If you order this product dont purchase it from violinwoodworkshop they are con artist. I made a return and the contradict their own product description of life time use, refusing to give me a full refund by claiming that it was useless and unusable after me just using it once. I hope these these protesters burn their business down... garbage.
