I hand wash the Glasses and keep these on to wash as well. They drain well. They do stretch just enough to fit up the sides of angled glass ware. The bottom of the sleeve actually has a hole in it. This is intentional, it also means the glass will sweat onto whatever surface it is on. Since I needed 5 colors for 5 kids water cups I purchased the JarJackets Silicone Mason Jar Protector Sleeves, which come in a multicolor pack of 4 and this 2 pack green Brew Armor sleeve. I prefer this over the JarJackets hands down. The silicone is thicker and just seems better overall.
