You have to remove one side of the cleaner which includes removing 6 screws from inside the cleaner, and they are star bits with a hole in the middle- and not easy to remove. I think they call them torx or “tamper resistant” bits. I had to buy a set from northern tool store for only $4.99-assembling the brushes takes 2 people as you have to pull the rubber tabs thru the holes in the other sides - must use Vaseline to lube up and needle nose pliers to pull them together with a Lot of pressure. Took me about 2 hours total- but they fit and work great- glad to get my cleaner back! There's nothing to take apart; just cut the old ones off and wrap the new ones around each roller. I didn't realize how worn my original roller was till I replaced it with this one. This one fits fully between the roller holders whereas my old one I removed was probably a good 3/4" shorter.
