I would not advise using this to dice up a cucumber for instance. When you are cutting through bones you care more about weight, size, and durability. A lot of the other knifes I looked at had thin blades or were low quality steel. This thing delivers. I chopped up 10 pounds of chicken quarters in a couple minutes. Blade doesn't look dented and the heavy weight allows for some powerful blows. I cleanly cut through the chicken bones in 1-2 chops. If Chuck Noriss needed a choping blade, he would use this.

**Q: How good is the knife against cutting the simpliest things like veggies? Im looking for an all purpose clever if its possible.**
A: This is way over kill for veggies. Extremely heavy and thick cleaver knife. Unless thats your thing ? But, it is heavy and 1/4 " thick across the spine. Almost like a hatchet.

**Q: will it cut through turkey bones**
A: Sure will, and if you swing it hard enough it will cut your arm off.

**Q: Where is it manufactured / made?**

**Q: Has anyone used this to dispatch a large turkey? Is it sturdy enough to take a mallet to assist in removing head from neck quick and clean?**
A: This is my favorite go to in the kitchen
It’s sturdy and heavy enough to cleave the turkey’s neck with out a mallet and with ease. 

It’s nicely balanced and I use it to cut about every thing in the kitchen. 

I was able to lop of the head of a large pig with three good hits

This cleaver is awesome! It has good weight to it so you know that when it comes down on something it is going to split. This cleaver is for real and is no toy. If you have something in the way, like your finger, it is coming off. Only wish it came with a sheath.
