I use this in an unconventional way. I always like to save time and effort around the house by attaching things in a way to save time and effort. For a lot of this I use rubber bands. The only disadvantage to rubber bands is they are an endless loop, and many times not sturdy enough. Bungee Cords work for some itms but not all and you must travel to the local hardware store and sometimes are not able to find the right size. The items that I work with are small and light weight and being able to cut a piece of this elastic the right size and fasten it only takes a few moments. So thanks to Amazon I no longer have to spend the time shopping for bands or cords of the right size, Just cut off a piece, tie it and fasten. Then I just place the item in place ,snap the band and am done.
