It mixes well with cut bananas in a bowl, the slightly sour taste pairing well with the sweet fruit. It would also go nicely with yogurt and mixed in smoothies. If the fruit I give my mom is dark, like blueberries, I like to sprinkle this on top for a garnish, since its light color will be seen against the dark. I bought this because I read about the superior health attributes of this berry. I also bought Sea Buckthorn oil, both one made from the seed and one made from the flesh. But I have used this powder much more than those, since it is a food rather than a supplement, and thus goes well with foods. As well the cost is lower than the oil, so I am less reluctant to use it.
