Rope is of great quality (just remember to leave it out to dry after use). Carry bag is a bit underwhelming as far as durability but it works (I upgraded to a heavy duty mesh bag that allows the anchor/rope to dry after use). Anchor was able to hold my kayak in place on a windy lake and I tried it with my canoe too(worked good)but might but a little undersized for that one if the winds kick up too much.
