The cards are matte. I like the artwork. The guidebook is sufficiently informative. It is nice to have something to complement and add to the tarot readings.

Sturdy cards but limited information in booklet!Nice way to learn runes! But no room for intuition as you are stuck to the image of the card.. better buy real runes and go with the info on internet

This is definitely one of the best rune sets available for purchase. The cards are large and vivid. They are very thick and they come with a meaty guidebook that delves into the meaning of each rune.Since the artwork focuses on showing how the rune may manifest in real life, you can easily read the card like an oracle card and learn what the rune means without reading the book.A must buy for people who are looking for a good quality rune deck.

Likely it was a reject deck resold. Because the cards werent in the order mentioned. Hence returning.Otherwise, If you are wondering how to learn runes this can be a good start. However the price does not justify the 24 cards you get with it. A good tarot deck will cost you about the same with 78 cards. The guide book is just enough for a beginner. You can build upon the wisdom u gain through your readings with it. Still one of a kind buy. The card stock makes up for the number of cards. Thick and bright and easy to shuffle.
