Quick to assemble/put away, light to carry. I have taken these on several hikes and they are very sturdy. Cork handles are brilliant. Very good value for money. I usually use expensive Leki poles, but wanted something small enough to go inside my rucksack if I’m scrambling or rock climbing. I didn’t want to buy lighter, but much more expensive, carbon fibre poles, as I didn’t feel I’d use them often enough. (I mainly planned to use my robust aluminium Leki poles still.) Putting these together, I was immediately impressed by how well-made they are. They actually feel slightly lighter than my Leki’s, but pack down to a much shorter length, so they will easily fit inside my rucksack. Great for the price. *by L***L on 12 January 2022* I've definitely owned far better fold up poles, but I also paid 4 times the price for them. These are not super light weight, super sturdy, but for the price they are a very good option. Grip is very comfortable, they are easily to use and should stand up to your average hill walkers usage. Having broke many poles, in my opinion you won't find a super sturdy option that also fold up.
