Was dry and crumbly, not the soft squishy babka I've enjoyed from Zabars. Was "okay". Won't be buying this one again. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Hard and Dry! *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017* Don't order this product during summer or early fall when the temps are so high. Product was so and hard and dry that I couldn't eat it, but it was packaged well. Probably not the best thing to order on line, if you want something really fresh to start with. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Buy babka at your local bakery. *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2017* I ordered two loaves this time, and unfortunately, both arrived very dry and apparently stale. Perhaps it occurred during summer shipping. Anyway, I was quite disappointed. Maybe I'll try again in cooler weather to see if that helps. At this price it should be moist and fresh. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/30515222-yummys-cookies-fresh-baked-homestyle-babka-cake-of-gourmet-bread](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/30515222-yummys-cookies-fresh-baked-homestyle-babka-cake-of-gourmet-bread) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
