This 60V cordless string trimmer hits that sweet spot of having enough power without feeling like overkill. This 60V unit has the power to blast through all sorts of weeds, and the 4 amp hour capacity lasts long enough to get most medium and some larger jobs done in one charge. It is definitely comparable to a 25 cc gas powered string trimmer, but without the hassle or noise. Unsurprisingly, this battery powered string trimmer is relatively quiet, unlike its gas powered cousins. Also unlike gas powered, it is very simple to use. Just put in the battery and go. The weight is comparable to a gas powered string trimmer. It isn't feather light, but it comes with a strap that helps a lot. I can use it for an hour and not feel completely wiped out. I also like that I can use attachments with it. I happen to have a couple of attachments from other brands and they worked perfectly fine with this string trimmer. Specifically, I have used a pole saw and a hedge trimmer attachment with it. Both made quick work of the job at hand. I also appreciate that it comes with a high capacity battery and charger. I've seen others that only come with a smaller capacity battery, or perhaps none at all, but this is a good one and done starter set that will serve you well. It also comes with a bit of 080 string. The good folks at Greenworks have another hit. This 60V cordless string trimmer hits that sweet spot of having enough power without feeling like overkill. This 60V unit has the power to blast through all sorts of weeds, and the 4 amp hour capacity lasts long enough to get most medium and some larger jobs done in one charge. It is definitely comparable to a 25 cc gas powered string trimmer, but without the hassle or noise. Unsurprisingly, this battery powered string trimmer is relatively quiet, unlike its gas powered cousins. Also unlike gas powered, it is very simple to use. Just put in the battery and go. The weight is comparable to a gas powered string trimmer. It isn't feather light, but it comes with a strap that helps a lot. I can use it for an hour and not feel completely wiped out. I also like that I can use attachments with it. I happen to have a couple of attachments from other brands and they worked perfectly fine with this string trimmer. Specifically, I have used a pole saw and a hedge trimmer attachment with it. Both made quick work of the job at hand. I also appreciate that it comes with a high capacity battery and charger. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Decent Cordless Trimmer/Blower Combo

I recently replaced my 15-year-old gas trimmer with this cordless unit because I was tired of trying to keep the gas unit running. This is my first experience with a cordless model. I'm still getting used to it, having used the trimmer only 3 times so far. It seems to work quite well, although maybe not quite as powerful as my old gas model. I have a 1/2 acre of property, which probably includes at least 500 feet of curb, sidewalk, driveway and flower bed trimming. The first time I used it I walked quite fast and was able to trim everything reasonably well plus use the blower on all edging except the flower beds before the recharge light came on. This set came with a 2.0 AH battery, but since then I purchased a 6.0AH battery to make sure that I always had an adequate source of power to complete the job, at a slower pace. I initially had a problem trying to assemble the blower tube, but after a few minutes was finally able to put the lower tube on. I've had a problem with the trimmer string, in that on several occasions it partially welded itself on the spool. I've purchased a can of silicon spray, have sprayed the spool and so far the string appears to be playing out as it should. For what it's worth, with the 6.0AH battery, the trimmer weighs about 8 pounds and with the 2.0 AH battery it weighs about 7.5 pounds. My old gas model weighed about 10 pounds with a full tank of gas, so being that I'm almost 80 years old, this is a bit easier to tote around. The blower does a decent job of blowing debris away. I would recommend this combo to other customers, and I'm hoping my "fix" to keep the string playing out will continue. Update - After reading another customer's review, and looking at a picture of the blower, it was obvious that my tube was at least a foot shorter than it was supposed to be. Why was that? On closer inspection I discovered a tube located inside that one. (It had been jammed inside and took a little effort in removing it). However, after removing it, it was then easy to assemble the tubes, and with the partial "obstruction" removed, the air velocity was greater.
