Once I had this in my hand, I now suspect that some of the prior reviewers may have glossed over some shortcomings.First, and most glaringly obvious, is that the bottom edge of the case partly covers the Home button. This completely prevents you form using Touch ID. Period. There is no semicircular cutout to accommodate the Home button as there should be. I had to do this myself with an exact knife (to cut the leather) and a dremel tool (to cut and trim the internal metal band) to create a fitted opening allowing my finger to rest on the Home button and TouchID to be used. See attached photo.Second, the leather quality is thin and cheap-ish. I have owned better quality leather cases for prior model iPads before, but unfortunately at this time that manufacturer does not make iPad Pro cases...Third, there should be an awakening function upon opening the case flap like many competitors have, but there is not.Fourth, the pencil holder is outside the case and is easily jarred or knocked, and so could damage or lose the Apple Pencil; this could easily have been designed to be in the mid-fold section of the case where it would have been protected.Other than that, so far, the case seems OK. It holds all of my essential cards and money. It's soft on the inside so it won't scratch my iPad and it protects it. It's real leather with just makes the whole thing look very classy rather then just some heavy bulky cover. It doesn't add much weight to the iPad itself which was surprising. The only thing that I wish it did was the ability to lock my screen when you close the cover.
