Review: I expected my dog to hate these... but he loves them! - Our older dog (15 y/o Pomeranian/Eskimo Mix) has been having trouble in the sun. Apparently an older dog can start to have iris atrophy which causes light sensitivity because their eyes don't dilate properly to let in less light. So he couldn't see when we took him out in the daytime and it got so bad that at least 50% of the steps he'd take were obviously hesitant, almost scared steps and it was clearly not a good time for him. Historically he HATES things on his head and I didn't think these would last a moment. But we introduced them outside, in the sun and he instantly understood and didn't fight it. They fit PERFECT. I'd say any dog smaller than him they probably wouldn't fit, as the bands have a lot of adjustability but our boy is at the small end of their variance. He is 10 lbs and some "small" dog clothes don't fit him, but he's too small for "medium" in dog clothes, if that helps. If your dog is a toy these will probably be too big. The difference for him was like night and day. All of the problems he'd been having were instantly gone and he walked confidently all over the yard with no problems. Also they're so cute your heart will melt into a big glob when you put them on your fur baby. Yellow isn't my preferred color but I wanted them in a color our dog would be able to see well and recognize so that's why we went with the yellow and he does get excited when we pull them out. I will suggest that once you adjust the straps to the right size to fit your dog, put a baby-safe safety pin in the strap to keep them from loosening on their own.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not Perfect But A Good Price...

I've been riding dogs on my motorcycles for many years, and a simple set of goggles like this helps. I was skeptical about this cheaper brand, but gave them a try and they worked OK for my small Pomeranian. The quality of the frame and rubber cushion appears good, and they fit him very well. The lenses are on the dark side, so he wasn't as comfortable with that. A lighter lens that is guaranteed to protect against UV would be helpful. Also, the strap material was a little too wide. With only one side of the chin strap secured to the head band, it was more difficult keeping them on his head, when he would shake. I will eventually stitch the loose end of the chin strap to the head band to help keep it in place. Another odd thing is the unusual eye shape of these, with a little upturn on the outside edges. It's not really stylish or cool looking, but it's not a deal breaker either. One great thing about these are the price. These are far cheaper than a leading dog goggle brand and the material quality appears to be approximately equal. Overall these aren't bad and definitely worth the price... I recommend you try them for your dog and see if they work for you. For us, they're mostly working.
