This has been one of my best baby purchases, worth every penny! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good bottle warmer, but *by T***N on January 6, 2014* We picked this unit up based on reviews from others, so I don't have experience with another bottle warmer type other than this. Having said that, it does the trick (most of the time, see notes below) warming the bottle and you get used to how much to turn the dial to get the bottle where you need it. Here are some issues I have with it. When we had our newborn, we were still using the small, and skinney 1.5 oz and 3 oz by Medela. Because of their size, they fell over or didn't float properly to warm evenly. This unit works best with a standard size Medela bottle and at least 3 ozs of milk. Because we only use formula as a supplement to breast milk, we never have a lot of formular in the bottle so they float around and warming temp varies. The issue I have now is, after a couple months, the warming is inconsistent. First, I have noticed that turning the dial to 2 or 3, it sometimes comes on, but the timer doesnt kick in, so it never shuts off. You have to keep an eye on it. Also, the warming is inconsistent. Sometimes the water is quite hot-warm and you see steam, sometimes after a few minutes, the water is barely even warm and you have to run it again to warm up the bottle. In the middle of the night or 2 a.m., standing on a cold tile floor waiting for it to heat up a bottle is annoying. Maybe ours is defective? Because we have hard water in our area, we only use distilled water in the unit so if I know that's not that problem.
