My first Prim Pantry order was a little low so I visited the home health care product line and decided for the price why not give it a try. Well the product came in, wrapped in a plastic bag in case of leakage, and I was surprised by the size. Much larger than my normal shampoo. Of course I had to try it the next day and pushing my normal shampoo to the side I kept my fingers crossed for a half way decent result. SURPRISE! First the fragrance is very nice. Not too strong but very pleasurable to the nose. The consistency of the product is smooth and actually feels pretty good in the hand. Of course instructions say wash, rinse and repeat which I always had done previously. SILLY ME! I found with this shampoo it wasn't necessary. REALLY! My hair was clean and rubbing my fingers through my hair it squeaked. Now I am a guy with shorter hair so I won't say for sure if you have longer hair a second application will be necessary. I have no problems with it making my scalp itch. I think its because of the shea butter which helps moisturize but doesn't make your hair oily. I highly recommend. I like to switch every once in awhile so my hair doesn't get used to the same shampoo all of the time so I would also recommend the Keratin or Moroccan oil infused one they make as well **Q: Does this weight hair down?** A: Like all others, it depends entirely on how much of the product you use. If you use too much, of course it's going to weigh your hair down AND be greasy; obviously if you do the opposite, it won't. As a rule of thumb, no more than a quarter size amount should be used to achieve good results. Apply on the ends only. Best thing to do? Follow the instructions on the bottle. Hope this helps. **Q: Is this color safe?? I bleached and toned my hair. Would it wash out my toner? Or is it ok to use with color??** A: Yes you can use this on color treated hair.
