I tried these and were fine, as long as I didn’t try to dim them. **Q: Are these energy saving bulbs?** A: I don't think they are. They are not LED but give a very bright light (undimmed) at 40 Watts. I bought them as a direct replacement for an existing light fitting. **Q: Is it suitable for oven? Need to replace light for the oven. It looks the same.** A: Good start if it looks the same as the fitted bulb. If you can’t see the wattage on the original bulb, it will be safer to consult the oven handbook.
