Will this stick to the cork backing and the back of a ceramic tile?** A: I have not used it on cork or ceramic tile, but everything else (Wood, MDF) it worked great. It is VERY adhesive. Make sure and line things up exactly where you want them because when you stick it down, there is no moving it! Hope that helps, I would not hesitate to use it on cork and ceramic. **Q: How thick is the adhesive and its carrier film?** A: Hi, the adhesive layer is 3.5 mil (that is 0.0035 inch) thick. This product, 3M 8153LE, does NOT have a carrier. It is simply the adhesive layer sandwiched between two liners. A similar 3M product that DOES have a carrier is 3M 9474LE. I used the adhesive to attach a large aluminum heat sink to an aluminum plate. Temperature of the plate is 179 degrees.
