Review: Great product and value - Just be prepared for an initial smell, but for me living where I do I am used to countryside aroma. It was very moist and very full of what is needed for a great Mulch. Was easy to spread and for what I needed there was plenty to use.
Review: This mulch really is magical. - I mulched my roses fairly early this year as I was away for the first month of spring and my roses have never grown better. I truly believe this mulch is a game changer. It’s the only thing I did differently this year other than mulching a bit early sorry to me it seems very effective. A decent size bag, I have five roses and I still have some spare. It doesn’t smell and it spreads nicely leaving a nice looking finish to my pots. I also mulched my Acers and they have also thrived so far this year. So I love this stuff, it was definitely worth the buy.

**Q: Would this be good to put around established hydrangeas ?**
A: I have put it around my established hydrangeas and peonies and they are both coming along nicely

**Q: Can this be used to mulch roses in winter when they get ready for dormancy with out stimulating them?**
A: Yes our Magic Mulch is a great product to over winter your beds.
The Mulch is bio-active and nutrient rich so it will feed your soil, add organic fibre and increase the worm population and boost soil bio-diversity. 
There is always the possibility that some of the naturally present NPK and mineral content does feed plants as they move into their dormant state but this should only serve to boost root growth and prepare them for a comfortable 'hibernation' and have the plants well set for Spring.

**Q: Do i need to remove this mulch in spring if used to over winter daliahs?**
A: Magic Mulch is completely Organic, made entirely from Organic material, and will break down and feed the soil over winter. This should be left (what hasn’t naturally bio degraded over winter) on and in the soil for the best start to Spring and for your Daliahs.

**Q: Would this be suitable for a potted Olive Tree?**
A: I dont see why not.

I don’t know what I was expecting but I definitely wasn’t prepared for the smell ! If it does what it’s meant to do for my new planted tree then great but please be prepared for the stench ! I have never used mulch before so maybe this is normal for those of you who are hardened gardeners but I’m a newbie . I can’t comment on how great it is other than that if I’m being totally honest , let’s hope it does its magic the smell will be almost worth it ( maybe ) if it helps my tree growth
