They are also small. The small squares are 1 cm X 1cm. The rectangles are 1cm X 5cm and the big squares are 5cm X 5cm. Each individual set only contains 4 of the large squares so you may want to combine two or more individual sets in order to have enough pieces for your problems. **Q: How many of each piece in a set? Some people are saying there are xy pieces, others say no. (I don't see them in the picture.)** A: Thank you for your inquiry. There are 30 student sets and 1 translucent teacher set. Each student set contains the following pieces: 4 (x^2), 8 (x) and 20 (1). It does not include xy pieces. I also have 18 additional unopened student sets and an additional unopened teacher set if you are interested in more than 30 sets. Let me know if you have additional questions. **Q: Does each student set come in an individual ziplock bag?** A: No; the student sets are bagged individually but not in reusable ziploc bags. I had to transfer them to ziplocs that I purchased. **Q: Do the pieces exactly line up? I mean is there a whole number of x tiles that are equal to the x squared tile?** A: Hello Amazon Customer! The Algebra Tile Class Set pieces do align. Feel free to contact us at review@learningresources.com with any other questions you may have. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Excelente pero puede mejorar. *by on Reviewed in Mexico 10 February 2020* Soy maestra y trabajo con adolescentes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding. *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 November 2013* There is nothing else like them. They work. I found algebra tile mat templates on-line to organize tile placement and optimize on-task learning. Moves division to an inverse of multiplication like nothing I have ever been able to explain. Shows simplifying expressions and like terms. Once you see what they can do for your classroom you will wonder why they aren't mandatory for sixth grade ! Be sure to invest in zip top freezer bags for storage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnet strength is great *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 October 2025* The strength of the magnets is great for use on white boards. ## Frequently Bought Together - Learning Resources Algebra Tile Class Set - Classroom And Teacher Must Haves, Board Bame, Homeschool Supplies, Math Manipulatives Workbook, Montessori Fraction Materials, Educational STEM - Learning Resources Magnetic Algebra Tiles, Algebraic Math Skills, Magnets for Any Magnetic Surface, 72 Piece Set, Ages 11+ - EAI Education Jumbo Magnetic Algebra Tiles - Set of 35 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/306865707-algebra-tile-class-set](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/306865707-algebra-tile-class-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
