This has about 400 hours of run time on it and no problems at all. Going on 4 years now. It is not powered on all the time. I do a back up 3 times a week and other wise it is off.It's power supply plugged is into my systems APC so it gets clean power all the time. ### ⭐ Dead on arrival - Mac Pro and Mac Mini *by M***O on August 20, 2021* 2021.08.19 MRE: I so wanted this to work! I've got files scattered across 3 drives and decided to consolidate. My main computer is a Mac Pro (late 2013) with USB 3 ports. I also use a Mac Mini (Late 2014) for watching Amazon Prime, etc. It too has USB 3.0 ports, which this external drive was suppose to connect to. I got nothing on either one. Neither machine noticed the drive. No disk utility did either. I used the cable that came with the drive on both Macs. It just didn't work.
