Wattage is fine, theres absolutely no way this puts out 180w, as stated by a previous reviewer. Its a solid powerful amp/mixer. The sticker on the back of mine says it pulls 180 watts from the wall so... That being said, with four 15" PA speakers this has filled a medium airplane hanger with no problem. If you try to push a lot of bass through it though you will run into some headroom issues. **Q: Does it have an automatic shut-off for the power outputs to speakers in case a speaker cable shorts-out?** A: No not that I can tell **Q: Will the aux in playback in stereo ? Like from an iPhone?** A: Yes, there are line level inputs and a dedicated input/output for an external source, all in stereo. **Q: Can you run a carvin em900 in ear monitor?** A: It does have Bluetooth capabilities whether that will help you with your ear monitor I don't know. It has no lines out for powered speakers or powered monitors.
