This tube is 42 inches, and 3 ince diameter. What I can tell you is that I easily fit a 6'6" rod (along with a second 6' rod), and I can't imagine the eyes on a fly rod being large. Theoretically, you should have no problem (but measure to be sure). **Q: How many surf rods could you fit in this case? Very pleased ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for swords… if you can remove the cross. *by L***L on September 13, 2025* If you’re flying and have a sword that breaks down so you can remove the cross guard, this is an excellent and affordable alternative to a gun case. The tube seems like it will take a beating in terms of durability and I appreciate that the length is adjustable. I suspect it’ll work wonderfully for its intended use as well. Only downside I’m seeing so far is that it doesn’t come with a strap so you can sling it over your shoulder.
