One of Ledlenser's best-selling headlamps, the rechargeable H14R.2 is a 1,000-lumen powerhouse headlamp with quick and easy light dimming via a rotation wheel on the rear battery box. Review: Great headlamp for serious work - We're dog mushers in Alaska and use a headlamp for various things about 8 months out of a year. We've used cheapo and not-so-cheapo lamps over the last few years and this is hands down our favorite so far. Simple controls that are easy to operate with gloves on. Good battery life even in sub-zero temps. The light beam has a slightly blueish tint to it that I think improves definition. Easy to go from wide flood to tight spotlight by just rotating the light housing. Wide flood is wide, and spot is tight and focused. You can easily see beyond the lead dogs on a large team. Charges quickly and I like the idea of being able to use readily available AA batteries instead of the battery pack in a pinch. I don't think the light is too heavy at all. Rear mounted battery pack is nice so you can pull up your hood and keep your battery warm when it's really cold out, and comes with an extension so that you could carry the battery in your pocket if you wanted to. Highly recommended! UPDATE 11/25. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Still love these headlamps. Had the charging port on one go bad and contacted customer service to see if they had just the battery housing. They responded within 24 hours and sent me the part immediately. Fantastic!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this product comes with 3 feet extend core**
A: Hi there,The charger comes with an extension cord but not so long as you want. Also the extension cord for the battery pack is not so long. I don't recommend you to purchase this product as the charger is a very cheap one and mine didn't even work from the beginning. I have to charge the rechargeable batteries is another charger. I asked the manufacturer if they will change the charger and they advise to look for another one online. If you still want to buy the H14 my suggestion is to buy the regular one and to buy the rechargeable batteries separate. I don't recommend the H14R.

**Q: My lens is missing the spot/beam function and is just threaded on (zero movement). did i get a counterfeit item or is there just some trick to it?**
A: Try sliding the barrel in and/or out to change from wide beam to narrow.  The barrel does not twist to focus, just slides in and out.

**Q: I lovin the lamp, but could it be too bright for reading in a tent? Thanks.**
A: I believe it has two levels of brightness but I'm not sure

**Q: How much lumens is this one 850 or 1000 ?**
A: Current production is 1000 lumens.  Can't speak for other sellers, but all units we have in stock ourselves are the new version.
