The design is good, as in the position, number, size and type of pockets, which are very usable, and you look very alpha and manly when wearing them; which is very important to us manual labourers with, otherwise, an unjustly low social kudos. The belt loops are large enough for a belt wide enough to help you avoid back injury. They are very comfortable and for me they are true to fit.
