I read through the skinny map, answered a few questions just to make sure that my mind and my heart were ready to commit to this program for 8 weeks. I lost 78 lbs six years ago and now I've gained back 53 lbs. I gained weight because I struggle with depression, commitment, and consistency. Once I truly felt ready, I went grocery shopping and prepped meals for the first week. It was simple and didn't take as long as I expected. The next morning I took a skinny burn ,which surprisingly didn't have any bad side effects such as jitters, racing heartbeat, headache or stomach problems. I was able to follow the skinny meals throughout the entire day. I was so proud of myself becaus I have a horrible habit of cheating on a diet on the first day. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I got my first sticker. Who knew a 40 year old needed that kind of reinforcement?
