I love the ball point and I was confident (silly me) that the pencil would be excellent, too, but it came with only about three sticks of lead and I've yet to have it work right. It's usually jammed up. I'm hoping that adding more pieces of lead will work to straighten out the problem but if not, I'm stuck with a dud, I guess.

I have the ball point pen and fountain pen---so a matched set of three. I'm frustrated with this mechanical pencil, though.
