So you can’t control the water temperature which I don’t mind because I live in Southern California and it doesn’t get too cold, but I would imagine if I lived on the East Coast using this in the winter time might be kinda cold on the old starfish. That being said for the price, I bought two of these one for my master bedroom and another for downstairs.. I usually wipe my butt 20 to 30 times per duece, now I only do it twice. It turns out that the 3-way T-adapter that came with this seat could only be threaded onto a KOHLER Fill Valve. Before installing the seat, I decided to replace the old FluidMaster Fill Valve inside the tank with a brand new FluidMaster Fill Valve. Everything worked great (no leaks) until I tried to screw the 3-way T-adapter onto the water inlet, which is actually the section of threaded shank at the very bottom of the fill valve that fits through the hole in the bottom of the tank. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get a decent connection. When I finally did manage to attach the adapter, it leaked, so I turned off the water and took everything apart. Then, with nothing else attached, and with the fill valve shank in one hand and the T-adapter in the other, I tried connecting the two, but still no luck: the T-adapter simply would not screw onto the fill valve threaded shank. When I looked closely, it appeared that the threads were different. So I went to the hardware store, taking the 3-way T-adapter with me, and once there, I headed straight to the plumbing department where I tried screwing the Kohler adapter onto a Kohler Fill Valve. Voila! Problem solved. So I bought a Kohler Fill Valve and once I installed that inside the tank, I had no more problems. It was easy to instal but using it is not as easy. The nozzle adjusting handle requires a large movement to get any nozzle movement. For a tall torso person like myself, it is quite a reach downward to operate the handle. The three nozzle tips offer a very small range of options as to the stream of water. One is almost zero and one is a scalpel. The middle is ok but not quite strong enough.
