Review: Some of the 1-2 star reviews almost deterred me from ordering this mini masher, but I'm glad I relented. It's very sturdy and mashes avocados and potatoes prepared for mashing quickly and with ease. The handle is not particularly uncomfortable as some of the other reviews would have you believe. I am a 6' man with rather large hands, and this mini masher was not uncomfortable to my hand in the least...it might have become uncomfortable eventually, like if I'd have to use it for 30 minutes to get the job done, but for the 1+/- minute it takes to use for an avocado or a couple of cooked potatoes, hand discomfort was not an issue. If you need a sturdy, compact, easy-to-use device to mash soft foods, I totally recommend this item.

**Q: The description indicates a soft touch comfort handle.  It looks like it's all stainless steel to me.  Wrong picture?**
A: You are correct, there is no soft touch handle. The whole tool is steel. I use it to mash up bananas, avocados and other similar food items. Handy little tool…

**Q: What are the dimensions of the actual masher part? Is it small enough to fit in a small cereal bowl size? Thanks!**
A: According to the dimensions listed, the masher base is 2.13 x 1 inches. I use mine to mash stuff in my 6-ounce ramekins every day, so I would imagine you should be able to mash in your small cereal bowl just fine.

**Q: Will this work with strawberries?**
A: I've never tried it with strawberries, but assuming the berries are ripe enough, I think it would work. It's a sturdy little thing. But keep in mind that it is a small masher, so if you want to do a lot of berries, I'd recommend a bigger one for the job.

**Q: Does the mini masher rust?**
A: I haven't noticed any rust. I think I've only used it once though. I keep it in my kitchen chuck box that I use for car travel. 
It's a little hard on the hand though because it lacks the soft rubber grip that is in the description.
