It is not. It is made of a cotton type material. The pockets are large enough to fit a tablet. However, it does not have any elasticity to it so when you put something heavy in the pocket, such as a tablet, it leans forward. The arm "flap" is thin. It will fit over an arm chair easily. It does lay very flat on the top of the arm chair so it doesnt bother the person sitting in the chair.I was a bit disappointed as I thought it was a more solid piece, by the picture I saw. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It works, but could be better. *by G***H on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2021* This caddy appears to be made well, but it could be improved a little as there are a couple of minor annoyances. The material is not very stiff, so the weight of the remotes causes them to hang out away from the chair unlike what's shown in the photos. I have my caddy on a recliner and when I extend the recliner, it pushes the inside material up slightly. After extending the chair several times, the caddy has to be re-positioned and the flap tucked back in. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Functional with a few tweeks *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2021* It really needs a counter weight. I actually have a wrench on the back end to keep it from sliding. But the pockets are a perfect size.
