The thermal pads are forgiving, so you don't have to put it on your ssd with 0.1mm precision. Having an NVMe Samsung 980 evo just a slot above a GPU monster made it heat up to ~60 C under full GPU load, with this cooler, you get 55C - that's 5C less. The screwdriver is included, it's fairly neat. MC1 PRO gives you performance of coolding down to 53C, so the price difference is justifiable. PRO versions is a lot thicker but headpipe isn't visible once you put it into motherboard.
