There are some nice recipes in this book, but the title is deceptive. While there is no added white sugar to the recipes, the ingredients rely heavily on things like maple syrup, agave nectar, and the like. Those are sugar, and not allowed for anyone who has to watch they're consumption of sweets. If you're simply trying to avoid adding sucrose to your foods, though, then this book has some very interesting ideas.

One word,  AMAZING.Few ingredients, clear instructions, but what is truly necessary in a cookery book are photographs. After every recipe there is a beautiful photo of each item. It is vital to have that photo.  Every cookery author should push the boat out and spend that extra cash on the photos. I won't buy a book without them. I am just converting to raw and every  recipe is brilliant. Ten out of ten Miss. Joanne farrow.
