I use the Wedgit Lock security bar that has been independently tested Intertek to withstand 400 lbs. of pressure in compression testing. **Q: How many lbs of force can this security bar withstand based on manufacturing testing?** A: I do not know if PetSafe ever tested the strength of their security bar, if they did I'm sure they would have shown the results on the product page.
