## Description

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I installed detector in vacation home.  Returned home, 3 days later detector went off line despite wifi/battery still working. How do I fix remotely?**
A: I use an EZ outlet that can reboot my router from any location. It will also do it automatically if router is off line. This will reconnect all wifi units within the home.

**Q: Just got,setup was easy,placed near sump pump pit. Tested by wetting cable sensor & unit alarmed, but no option to silence thru app or email notice??**
A: If the source of the alarm is a water on the cable, you can also disconnect the cable from the unit and the alarm will stop in about a minute. Dry off the cable and re-attach.

**Q: Does anyone know whether the external contact is a binary open/closed detector (normally open?) (Might adopt this for something else).**

**Q: Will it work with Lyric home security system with central station?**
A: Hi there, Thanks for the question. The Lyric Water Leak Detector (WLD) can be used in the same home as a Lyric security system, but there is no direct connection between the two. The WLD is just a monitoring device, it will send push notifications and emails when it detects a leak, or if the temperature/humidity falls outside of the thresholds set by the user.
