If you cut the hole the size of the template, as suggested, the fit is very sloppy but does work. No more cables hanging down!Very easy installationCONS:The part that sticks out of the back, kind of gets in the way.. But not terribly.. It's for mounting to a box.I personally did not mount these to a box.. I installed them behind the tv on the wall and I screwed the plate into the Sheetrock... Which is more than enough to handle the wall plate that will most likely not be touched again unless I change out the TV!I definitely highly recommend these if you are looking to get rid of the clutter that surrounds a wall mounted tv..
