**Q: What is the total length**
A: Hi Iris, there's an image on the Amazon listing that shows the dimensions (currently image #6). Basically the total height of the agate slices is around 18 inches (there are 7 agate slices of around 3 inches each, with some overlap between them). When you include the topmost part with thread and wooden rings above the agate slices, you end up at around 26 inches grand total. Thanks for your interest!

**Q: Are these still arriving full of knots or has this shipping issue mentioned in many reviews been resolved?**
A: We sell these at the shop and I have personally opened no less than 10 of these (to take pictures) and they have all opened perfectly so I can't speak to the knots issue.   I take them out of the package - hold them up by the hangers hook - and they always swirl open like a twisted candy cane.  All of them.   So perhaps then its just a matter of the seller - or the batch - or even the worker who is doing the wrapping at the factory.   

We considered having fancy boxes made for them and it would have added another $13 to the cost.  For a box!   So then we considered just even having simple boxes ... those added another 11.  So we retired the idea.

**Q: How do the chimes sound? Does it need a lot of wind to produce sound?**
A: They sound melodiously! No, but a steady wind gives you that solft sound of crackling chimes. I love them!

**Q: What does the chime sound like?**
A: It's different from the typical chime sound. Maybe more of a clinking. I like it! :)
