The tone and shine in the picture are accurate. Backstory I needed a purse for a formal event. Every purse I found was either two formal and too small or big and frumpy or not fancy enough I decided to go a different route get a purse that was right down the middle that I could dress up. I bought these and they are perfect. Comes with a little foam mount that secures it well. The only advice I would give anyone using these is that the foam if it’s not trimmed before you put it down, it show a bit and it is black -in my case it gave me a little bit of a shadow effect, but if I could go back and do it over again. I would have made sure the foam was lined up as close as possible and trimmed it down on the edges BEFORE I removed the 2nd backing on the mount. My only complaint is that the scorpions were not mirrored to each other so I could only use one on the bag and not two.
