The main body is nice and heavy (glass and not plastic) and so far they seem to grind the contents very well.I like that the grinding end is upwards, so that the residue when you are finished using it, does not end up all over the table. One small peeve I have is that when you are in a hurry, it takes a second or two to perform that extra step of removing the cap top before using the grinder. I guess the benefits of no mess makes up for this slight inconvenience. How long should a product last? Should the vendor create something timeless (design and durability) or something that needs replaced "every few years"? I like the look and feel and use of the grinders. I want them to last at least 10+ years.
