He had no reaction to the collar so we've been using it on our current pup. Highly recommend.We were a little skeptical that a collar could control the ticks that are prevalent in our wooded homesite. However, it has been approximately a month and the tick population is still alive and well but not on my dog. We know because we occasionally remove one from one of us~~but even that has decreased~~we think that our possession of them was from those that had originally been on her. We have found skeleton types of ticks on her that we surmise died on her within minutes?? I have not liked using the chemicals that are placed on the fur and work for a month. I've always felt that they were dangerous. I don't know of any reports that this collar is more or less dangerous.
